You should see an ENT specialist when you experience any discomfort or unusual sensations related to your ears, throat, or nose, including:

  • Loss of smell

  • Swelling of the soft tissues of the cheeks and upper lip
  • Enlargement of nearby lymph nodes in the ears, throat, and nose
  • Fever, headaches, and sudden worsening of overall health – this symptom may not necessarily indicate ENT diseases, but if it accompanies any of the above symptoms, it’s important to consult an otolaryngologist.
